Samanvai Art Gallery is a house of contemporary work of eminent artists from across the country. The gallery is located in the heart of the city (Ganpati Plaza, MI Road), offering both — distinct ambience and visual experience. Samanvai endeavors to bring out all forms of art albeit a hand-picked collection. The gallery’s collection is an eclectic blend of original artworks ranging from – Abstract to Landscapes and portraits. The collection constitutes an array of mediums and styles – water-colour, acrylic, etchings, mixed-media to name a few.
Mrs Reeta Kuhad, the owner-director, with her profound interest in varied forms of art, brings valuable curation to the shows held in the gallery ever since its inception in 2001.

Samanvai is a spacious gallery with three separate rooms and a long corridor.

At Samanvai, it is our endeavor to be supportive of the artists and a buyer can avail artwork of famous artists in a competitive price range.
Samanvai reckons that learning art is an art in itself and thus we host workshops, art walks, art discussions/talks and other such events at regular intervals for the art enthusiasts to come and unwind, share and learn. Our workshops are designed for intensive learning. Some of the workshops in the past– Water Colour Demonstrations, Printmaking and Enameling workshops. Samanvai also arranges other activities such as art movie screenings, Poetry and book reading sessions, Music recitals.
We also have a small but esoteric collection of art and poetry books that you can browse through while sitting in our quaint gallery space away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
